Veronica Y. Morning-Morrison – President & Treasurer
Veronica Y. Morning-Morrison is a native Miamian. She is single and the mother of Immanuel Dejon Morrison. She graduated from Miami Central Senior High School and then from Spelman College in 1979, with a major in Sociology and a minor in Secondary Education.
On Nov. 1, 2001 she founded and was the CEO of Triumphant People Community Task Force, Inc. (TPCTFI) This nonprofit organization was founded, according to its Mission Statement, “to serve as an advocate that will defend and uphold the basic Human Rights of all mankind regardless of age, race, social or economic status.”

Karen Y. Foster – Vice President
Karen was raised in the Miami-Dade county area and is a graduate of Miami Central Senior High School. She earned her B.S. in Science from Knoxville College in Tennessee. Karen also graduated from the University of Miami with a Masters of Science degree. She has impacted the lives of many area youth for the past 22 years as a secondary education science teacher.

Charlotte Powell – Board Member
Born June 8, 1955 in Tampa FL. Charlotte went to Tampa Tech high school and graduated in 1973. She attended HCC then went on to FSU and graduated with a BA in Fine Arts. She now works for the Hillsborough County Library System where she has been employed for the last 29 years.

Brenda Comadore – Secretary Advisor
A native of Florida, wife and mother, Brenda completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Florida and graduate degree at Troy State University in Troy, Alabama. She is also an active member of Rivers of Life Church, in Brandon, Florida for 15 years.
